Introducing Claims, Inc.'s New Mascot... Bella Louise!

It’s been a while since I posted on this blog, but I have some very exciting news to share with you all! Recently, I adopted a golden retriever puppy at eight weeks old. I named her Bella and we’ve decided she is our new mascot here at Claims, Inc. Now, she is sixteen weeks and double in size! You can find Bella in the office playing with chew toys, taking long naps, and looking for affection at all times. I hope to raise her as a therapy animal and give her the skills she needs to be a companion to her human friends. I especially want her to be a comfort for our clients who need support during the stressful situation of suffering a loss to their home or business. I hope our clients enjoy getting to know Bella. For a preview, I thought I’d share some highlights of her budding personality for our readers.

Bella’s Personality

Playful - Bella loves fetch, tug of war, and playing with other dogs. Her favorite toy is a pink stuffed bunny with crinkly ears. She also enjoys rolling in the grass.

Laidback - It’s very rare that Bella gets worked up and she’s certainly not aggressive. She is more of a relaxed personality type and remains calm in social situations. Few things scare or startle her. She used to hate the car, but now she loves taking naps in her car seat. Her vet describes her as chill.

Goofy - Certain behaviors Bella has are outright funny. She often “retrieves” objects around the house and brings them to me. For example, if I leave my closet door open, she will start to grab socks from my baskets and bring them to me. She does the same thing with my shoes. Bella doesn’t destroy, just retrieves. You can also find her with her tongue hanging out of the side of her mouth. 

Cuddly & Affectionate - Bella loves to be picked up and held. She loves laying on or against trusted humans. She greets strangers with smiles and licks. This girl is a cuddle bug for sure!
